I've had three sets in mine, noise returns after a few thousand miles.

Hope you have more luck with yours.

I had them fitted to mine a couple of months ago only on the front, the ride and taughtness is improved, the only problem is I now have a knocking coming from the n/s front. Had a look and there is play in lower ball joint. Question: do you replace just the lower ball joint or the whole arm? All of this on a car that has only done 26K Rolling Eyes

I've just replaced both lower ball joints,my mate got me mine both for £34. :thumbsup:If you replace the wishbones you will have to have the alignment done aswell.I used a ball joint press and did it on the car.

I had mine fitted by md motors in willenhall in the west midlands. 1 hour front and about the same on the back.
Tech did advise me to replace the ball joints and down links (something like that) at the same time which I had done.
Which only took am extra hour or so I think it was.
One thing to note if your going to fit the polybush Arb bushes yourself... The fronts I was told are a very tight fit getting clamp on. Lot more meat on them I think. RRS HSE with a few extras & a

Yes the polybushes on the front are a tight fit, so much so that we had to use clamps to pull the brackets in place before bolting up. I will get my garage to replace just the ball joint and not the arm, thanks for the advice.. Thumbs Up

So how easy were they to fit my good man? I'm not a total cretin but i'm no James May either. Been mentally blanking out the knocking for a couple of years now Embarassed

There you go....
The instructions for the front are for the packers... If you were to change the Arb with polybush you would not need them
Instead of inserting packer you replace the complete bush.
Disco and rrs are the same.

Glad you posted that, because it confirms what I thought could be the only thing that could knock, just a design flaw that can be easily rectified permanetly Thumbs Up
