I have migrated here from Disco3.co.uk, and very pleased to have done so!
Anyway, quick question for the collective:
Engine running, in park. I get out of the car and move away from the vehicle with the key in my pocket. "Smart Key not detected" lights up on the dash, but engine keeps running. What is the effect of this - is the car immobilised but engine running, will it automatically power down after a time, or something else?
Only reason is that I often need to leave my engine running when I am away from the car and this could be a useful security bonus for me......!

I think it would allow the car to be driven off, but once stopped, it would not start again.....without the person there with the key...
