Disabled question??

Hi iam very interested in buying a new range rover sport se i was just wondering could you tell me if there is a big difference in access height between a range rover and an mercedes ml 320 i have a bit of a problem with my legs but can manage to get in and out of the ml quite easily thanks..

Hello mate, not quite a perfect answer but my son has CP that affects his left side.
He manages to climb into the sport (in access mode) as easily as he did in the old ML270 we had a couple of years ago. He does find it difficult getting into the sport in normal mode but thats no big deal since I always lower it when we stop and hes in the car.

Not sure if side steps would make the access better or worse since I hate the look of them and would never have them fitted to my sport.

Thanks for the speedy reply daz can i confirm that you can leave the car in access mode say in the driveway overnight for me getting in the next morning thanks

how much does access mode lower the vehicle and does the 2011 models have this as standard thanks for all the help

From the standard height:

Off-road height is 55mm (2.2") higher.

Access height is 50mm (2") lower.

Yes it does, as do all previous model years. Thumbs Up 2010 onwards are the cars to go for though, as there
was a major upgrade to the interiors and they are now much more befitting a car of this cost. Good Luck with
