I have been a lexus driver for the past 7 years and am now looking for a change.I have driven the new rrs 3.0 diesel and totally love it,but my only worry is the customer service aftersales.Lexus have been amazing to me with there service and was wandering what generally the service is at land rover dealers.I have not been impressed with the dealer in reading even in arrangeing a test drive.Can anybody recommend a good dealer?

I've had experiences at both ends of the scale. My local dealer (Stafford Land Rover) was a waste of time. When I first enquired about buying a car, no one returned my calls and when I eventually spoke to a sales (joke!) man he was useless.

I ended up buying from Shukers in Shrewsbury and I can't speak highly enough of the service I received from them from start to finish. Far better than my experiences with various BMW dealers over the years and also much better than my local Lexus dealer when I went for a test drive a couple of years back - a young girl demo'd the car to me and she hadn't got a clue. 14.5MY SDV6 HSE Dynamic Indus silver/lunar/ebony 20" wheels, InControl, full-size spare, electric tow bar, adaptive xenons, adaptive cruise control, auto main beam assist. Gone: TDV8 HSE; Zermatt silver/ebony, 19" off road alloys, active diff, particle filter, tow pack (it was fun) BMW 730D SE (great car, sadly missed). Ford Focus RS mk2, Ultimate green, lux pack 2, bluetooth. The start of my mid-life crisis.
IN THE GARAGE: BMW i8 - the mid-life crisis continues and it's great fun.

Had my last service not long ago.....and even when new work was mentioned, the price for it was a shock.....for the good...how often does that happen?

Ok so do I like Lookers? Damn straight I do......happy to admit it...and I think a few others do too.....
