Tell me about it... bank holiday too!
Funny you should say that - I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't order the 5-V spokes instead of these as a NCO as they looked a bit flat and boring in the brochure pics, and I'm not a big fan of this sort of alloy. However, now I've seen them I really like them! The picture doesn't really do them justice, but if you look at the rear wheel on the second picture you get an idea of how they angle-in towards the hub. PITA to clean though! Steps, yes probably (especially if I can get Slimer to come out of hiding) As for the other two, I actually prefer the contrast of the black against the silver, maintains a LR air of ruggedness IMHO, and I think the same goes for the grille. Will see with time though... Slimer did put a guest appearance in on D3 side yesterday or day before. Looks very nice, all those peeps purchasing new wagons, not fair as stuck with my old ones. |

It does look very nice, I like the wheels too but I wouldn't want to be cleaning those every weekend!

Thanks! In the end I went for the following extras: Front PDC Rear camera Flappy gear paddles DAB radio Seat memory Chiller box I did wonder if I was getting to the stage where I may as well have just got an HSE, but this was still about £4000 less and although the HSE had a few other extras that did also tempt me, it also had some that I really wasn't too bothered about. Glad about the wood choice, was going for the walnut at first but changed my mind. As others have said, almost looks black unless the light's on it. looks great!!! it was a toss up between black and silver for me. this week will be the longest in your life now that it is here! wheels look not to bad, i had only seen the 15 spoke in brochures so went for the v spoke as a NCO, thinking they would be easier to sell or if i had kept them use them for what they were intended!

lovely. Enjoy it. My kids are nagging the hell out of me to replace my MY 07 (with Codfathers new wheels on it!) with a new one in white (colour coded of course). I was thinking silver (again) to match my old Merc. I am keeping the current car until next year (Sept or Oct) and will replace her then - silver or white - hmmm? If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....
