I went for 255 55 19's for winters (as the LR handbook advised) - not sure why that is? But I agree, they do fill out very nicely- the car has been in standard height all day and was photographed in standard too.

You know you can get the dealer to recalibrate the speedo, satnav and computers for changes of tyre size. You might even be able to do it yourself, I haven't read that bit of the manual! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

in the sat nav settings there is an option for re-calibrating it after a tyre change.

well overnight we have had another 5cm at least. Would post some pics as I have never seen so much snow here since the winter of 1963/64 but we have no electricity - it went off at 8am just as my kettle boiled to fill a couple of flasks. No lecky = no router = no wired Internet so am posting from my iPhone! Just watched a telephone cable snap with weight of snow on it and watched an avalanche of snow fall off the roof of one of the houses across the street! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
