My input: The 2.7 is not slow, yes it is slower than the v8 and the SC but it shifts for a big unit.

There's no difference in "body kit" on the SC from a diesel. Visible external differences on a stock RRS are the badging at the rear and the slightly different grille and vents, also all SCs have had 20s out of the factory. All body parts are exactly the same.

Hi, just going through the same dilemma, slight advantage though , some may not agree, the diesel i am looking at has been superchiped. Its no SC but seams to be a lot more drivable. Food for thought and its about £550.

As already cleared with Martin the Moderator - are you still looking for a SC?

Abashir: what planet are you on? We all know what the RRS is and what they can do. If you are going to buy one, just get on with it. Oh, and mine is a 2.7 that has towed. Worked? Who have you been listening to? If you must contribute to the forum, talk sense and not this dribble. If you see a bandwagon - it's too late..... Java Black HSE TDV6 O7, alpaca, FF sunroof, adaptive Xenon headlights, SC grill, black privacy glass, clear indicators, tow-pack, colour-coded all black.Gone, but forever in my memory. Until my new one comes... In the stables:Mercedes CLK 230K Cab W208; BMW 318d; VW Golf (LHD) 1.6 SE in Spain:New RRS to come soon... |

ALL Land Rovers are designed from the start to be off road AND tow cars, apart from a tow hook there are no other modifications required like adding oil coolers or uprating the engine map like several of the German brands require.

Bit harsh muffd ? Abashir is entitled to an opinion just as you are, the more people that contribute the better I say. Without it these threads would be very short. p.s I have a lowly 2.7 but would love a Supercharger............ if fuel cost was of no concern. |
