That was what they said to me MAW! "We can't guarantee a LR loan car"! I paid for a 4x4 so I don't want to be pootling around in snow in a Ford Fiesta!

Well further to this my suspension has gone tits up today so I've just called LRA who, surprise surprise, don't have a LR technician available and are posting out an AA patrol to have a look at the car and if needed, recover it to Town and County.

AA are here and they DO have a computer to read the fault codes etc so he's diagnosed a faulty sensor (as mentioned in the other recall thread??) But he doesn't know which 1 so he's off to T n C with it!

If they have LR's computer they CAN I.D. which sensor it is - I bet they cannot be bothered - easier for him to have it towed - You'll get a 'satistaction survey' enjoy filling it in ! |

4wheel, make your complaint to Bryan the After sales Manager at T&C as well. He's a great guy and will definately pass on you comments to LR regarding LRA. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

This morning I got offered a Ford Galaxy from Enterprise which I politely declined as I cant see it making it up the track to where Im supposed to be going fishing tomorrow. Called Land Rover customer relations and the party line on hire cars through LRA is "they are only contracted to supply A car! they are not obliged to supply a 4x4!" So thats it officiallly. Cheap and nasty loan cars if yours breaks down unexpectedly.

Maybe a letter to LRCS expressing your disgust? You buy a 4WD for a reason, you expect a 4wd to replace it when broken etc etc......................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

What you're all forgetting is that LRA hasn't got anything to do with LR other than the name... the service is provided by Mondial (as are most mfr-branded assistance programmes). Mondial have the agreement with Enterprise to supply a loan car and they aren't committed to providing you with a car of the same make or even capability. They can also only get you a loan car if an Enterprise centre is open and then they can only get you what is available at the chosen centre.... I've successfully bitched previously at them to source cars from other Enterprise centres but I ended up with one of the Jap 4x4s if I remember. The Nissan pre-Qashqai model, forget what it's called. Anyway, they also have a daily hire rate limit, so the chances of you getting a replacement RRS out of Enterprise are pretty limited.

It isn't Mondial anymore! Its the AA now! And it was LR customer relations that said "our contract with Enterprise was only to supply a car!" Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.
