I had some American visitors over for a visit last week and they couldn't believe that we are allowed to drive round with snow still piled on the roof our car! So dangerous they said, what happens if it blows off onto the car that is following? I told them that it makes them draw further back which is safer for me and them in frosty snowy weather!! They were also horrified at the number of cars they saw where the drivers had not bothered to fully clear their windows, especially the front and rear screens, and could only see out of a tiny area that they had cleared in front of the driver................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have to agree with you about leaving the roof but I always clear the windows and bonnet so that I can see where I am going.

It was enforced in North wales last week - 2 motorists each received £60 fixed penalties notices for it according to the local paper
