2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Bali Blue
Premium Mats?

Collected my first RRS 3 weeks ago, MY10 in Bali Blue. Amazing car, and really happy with the colour!

Experience slightly soured by LR customer service though. They changed the delivery date twice in the last week, as staff had lost paperwork, there were dirty marks on the beige headlining when I collected it and they had not removed the model badge on the tailgate as I had asked them to do several times!

And no gift for the wife (usually buy BMWs, and get champagne or flowers) but maybe I am being picky, but you might expect something when you spend 50k!

Can anyone help me out with a question about the floor mats? When choosing my options I chose the 'Premium Carpet Mat Set' which cost me around £100. However, the mats that were in the car are not the same as the ones in the RRS brochure with the aluminium corners and the Range Rover badges. They are just plain black carpet mats and look very cheap. A minor issue I know, but I would like to know I have the right mats as they cost me £100!

Would appreciate advice from anyone else who also chose the Premium Carpet Mats.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

TBH in the present weather you are better off with the standard rubber mats, they have a high up-stand round the edge and can hold all the snow melt from the soles of wellies. As NPinks says though 2010MY cars have a different design to the pre 2010 cars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

The MY2007 and before are diffrent from the MY2008 onwards, seems like the MY2010 is diffrent again.
Got the deluxe carpet mats from the dealer but had to buy the rubber mats. Rubber mats are used 99% of the time only when we are going out with friends and not going to be encountering any mud etc. do we use the carpet mats. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

I had exactly the same experience a few weeks ago.

The mats that came from the factory were low quality, the driver mat not even fitting properly around the raised left foot rest.

Very dissapointed and voiced this to the supplying dealer, Marshalls of Peterborough.

Without quibble, they sent the set of luxury pile carpet mats with logo and ally corners, (the ones I thought I had bought in the order with the car)

All credit to them at Marshalls but shame on LR for supplying such a low quality product in a £50k car and leaving the dealer to mop up after them.

Does beggar the question, why doesn't LR just fit the same part that the dealer can supply. Did they run out?

Now have an unused set of sh*te quality mats cluttering up the car boot or garage floor...... any offers?

Actually using a rubber mat set at the mo due to the lovely weather

When I tried to order the premium mats for mine from the dealer I was told the factory was out of stock so may be there is a supply problem. I tried several dealers who all said the same. I ended up gettings a set from ebay. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award
