Ash, for the past 3 years i've been using Kaspersky and it's been great.

I use Avast on both the laptop and the pc in the house. Had it for 2 years. Never had a problem. Updates every time I switch on and once a year there's normally a newer version to upload. And its FREE which always appeals to a Scotsman!!!!! Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

I have an iMac. Never had a problem and no need for virus checker. It's Windows that's the problem. For my 3 office laptops, I use F-Secure. It is brilliant and does not slow the PC's down. Someone put a portable USB drive in my Netbook last week without permission at a conference and F-Secure caught and dealt with a virus immediately. If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....
