Dash lite up like a Christmas tree (oh no!)

Hi guys,

Need some help here. '06 RRS dash lights all(or most) went on last night when I started it up. Never turned off. Lots of fault messages on the screen. The speedometer stopped working also Big Cry . Vehicle has around 120K Kms on it. No past issues. I am assuming it is the battery or the alternator as this has happened before to us on a different vehicle(different make). Any thoughts???

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Sounds like it could be a low battery voltage problem - what temperature is it in Calgary at the moment? Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Thanks Martin and 2nd Rover for the responses.

Took the RRS to the shop to pull up all the error codes. They told me it was 2 sensors that need replacing, one on the transmission and another on the rear wheel speed sensor. It's going in for repairs tomorrow. Strange that these 2 sensors would lite up my whole dash like a Christmas tree(a little early for that Laughing ). He said it could just be loose or may have been disconnected if I went offroading(which I didn't). Asked about the battery voltage and alternator and they said it tested fine, told me I couldn't even drive this far if it were that which makes sense. Oh well, will keep you guys updated on the status, hope they don't find anything else wrong Shocked .

Hey guys, just to give you an update. It was just a faulty rear wheel speed sensor. It's been replaced and is all good once again. Sensor was $75 CDN and charged 0.5 hrs labor.
