Great Divide IV Adventure - Land Rover World next month!

Warning: Picture heavy post...

As a sequel to last year's Great Divide III trip to explore the Continental Divide in Colorado, this year's 5 day trip for the Great Divide 4 trip grew to 10 vehicles (2 RRS, 1 D90, 2 D2, 1 Classic and the rest LR3's) and we were accompanied by a writer/photographer for the duration of the trip and also during the subsequent 5 days for the 2009 Land Rover National Rally held in Leadville, Colorado (10K feet in altitude).

During the 2 weeks, we were able to travel across many of the highest trails in Colorado (Ophir pass, Mosquito Pass, Imogene Pass, Webster, Red Cone) and many others. Some of us began in the town of Telluride, and worked our way over across the state to meet up with the rest of the participants in Frisco. Lots of great camping, fireside chats, great cooking, trail driving, good camaraderie. The LR rally was in itself a wonderful collection of LR's from D90's, 110, 130, Series in various forms, RRS, Classics, LR3's, FFRR.

Proud to say that there were 4 RRS in all (2 on the Great Divide 4 trip and 3 for the LR national Rally, of which 2 were S/C and the other 2 HSE).

A great time was had by all participants, and apparently will be the cover feature story for next month's Land Rover World...

Now to try and locate a copy here in the U.S. as this particular magazine is a bit hard to find here.

Hope you guys enjoy the story when it comes out... Very Happy Very Happy
