DCC4x4 FFRR Front End Conv 2002 onwards to 2010 S/C Spec

Just been on DCC4x4 website, and they have details of their conversion for FFRR Front End 2002 to 2010 S/C spec.

Didn't think they could acheive this as a straight bolt on replacement, especially at £3295 including paint. Thought there had been more panel changes than just new grill, lights, bumper etc.

Quite impressive upgrade, if I had an early FFRR think I would go for it.

Well Done DCC4x4. Thumbs Up

Hmm.... interesting to see what the component parts are. Not sure why anyone would do it though - it's not too far from me sticking an M badge on the poxymobile Confused

Understand the M badge point.

But if you have a tired 02 FFRR that looks it's age due to the square grill and headlamps, and your budget doesn't allow you to buy a new one I think it's a not too chavvy option.

Maybe if the upgrade wasn't the S/C spec and just the Vogue, it would be less trying to pretend it's something it's not. Confused

Schmoogle,

it was your comment on site sponsors on the tyres thread that made me look on the sponsors page, as I didn't think there would be any tyre suppliers there. When I noticed the FFRR MY2010 conv.
Forgot DCC were a sponsor, even though they appear on the banner every couple of minutes. Whistle
They are not far from me, so may pop in when I'm free.
Not much on there I'm interested in that I haven't already done, but always worth looking at things in the flesh before deciding.
Quite interested in the Indy LR Techs on the site, they could well be worth having a chat with for second opinions on responses from my local dealer.
Always worth checking the sponsors first. Thumbs Up

islider a good point re vogue spec, we can offer this also, we would just offer the painted centre of the grille versus the chrome version and not paint the fogs and the lower part of the front bumper silver, we are now converting customers cars after much development work converting our pre 06 sales car and our 2006 demo car which can be viewed at any time, the wings are modified to adapt the front end, on pre 06 cars its a wings off job, facelfited cars are slightly easier, we have not even really promoted the twenty10 conversion as we have had lots of enquires which have turned into bookings just from a small mention on our website and on our ebay advert for 2006 conversions. The full conversion with the front, the side vents and the rear lights is £3975 , many customers also opting to have the 2010 20" alloys aswell, all of the costs can be offset by you selling your old parts, a customer of mine sold his 2006 parts to another chap would wanted to have the 2006 conversion on his 2003 car, i believe he got £800 for those parts so he was very satisfied.

The vogue has proved to be quite time consuming to finalise and eveyrthing to where we wanted it so has delayed us converting the sports to 2010 spec, the sport we feel is and easier proposition but will be a job for our bodyshop as it requires new wings and much more painting, we hope to offer the 2010 sport conversion during Novermber this year, then possibly move onto discovery 4 conversions. As long as your alright
