Resale Value

Hi

Looking at a Stornoway Grey with Ivory interior as I like the idea of a light interior, most Stornoway Greys have the Ebony Interior the popular and recommended choice by LR. When I go to change will the Ivory interior have an impact on the resale value?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards
Kevin

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Kevin, I agree with you that the colour combination is nicer than all black. I see quite a few Stornoway/Ivory FFRR and RRS in this area and I would have preferred it to the ebony that I have. I have never been keen on funerial interiors - my current RRS is a case in point - black everywhere (my last RRS was Giverny Green with Aspen leather/ carpets with Ivory headlining and trim) even though they are practical.
I don't see any reason why the lighter interior should affect the resale value so long as you keep the Ivory clean. There used to be 2 problems with Ivory - some brands of Denims caused blue staining and in the early days the blue gortex seat covers also caused marking. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Stornoway/Ivory is probably an easier combination to sell due to it being less common. Would need Zebrano wood ideally and privacy glass.

My preferred combination would be the above.
