I have an Indigo GPS with speed cam locations that I can update daily. I bought it when I had both the TD6 FFRR and the TDv6 SE which had no factory fit satnav and also for my Def90 which had no option for built in GPS.
The Indigo is OK for the 90 but now I have the factory built in system in the TDV8 and still use the Indigo for the speed cams info as it's maps are better than the Navteq systems being updated whenever I choose. I won't be buying the update CD - don't do enough long haul miles to justify the cost. I've never had any problems with the routing from the factory fitted system in the present car though Lespes 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Greece 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Alaska White

I've heard many times that factory satnav system is not that good compared to aftermarket ones. My experience so far is that the factory Satnav is working very nice even in the demanding area of Athens, Greece. I'm using a pda nav program for many years now and the only downside I see to the factory system is the absence of speed cameras and the limited (or not user upgraded) POIs. Other than that the directions given are very good.

Unfortunately for some strange reason Navteq maps are very limited in Greece although there are at least 2 companies that have full coverage of Greece and Navteq could work with them (especially if it's only for factory fitted systems).

I don't know if 2010 Eastern Europe map has more coverage for Greece than 2009 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

I have this DVD if anyone needs to ask if a certain place is covered or listed.

Just ask Thumbs Up I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

Checked it out and this offer does not include postage which for me is £7!

The main issue for me is that whatever you set it to on preferences it does not seem to have any effect.
I do not disagree that it will get you there, but quite often it is not the most efficant way. If you do not know an area then you are non the wiser. Also the Tom Tom preditive ETA is very good, Landrover one is not, get to within 10mins and that is the longest 10 minutes of your life!

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Stornoway Grey

Apart from mine having an 06 map in an 09 car it works reasonably on par with the Tom Tom that I have. mind you looking at it telling me im driving over a field pulling the 'van is amusing. Spoke dealer this morning and she says "I think theyre around 140 pounds!" Like Im going to be paying for it when the cars not even 2 months old yet!! The ETA that mine puts up usually DECREASES as im going along even with the van on. On each destination I used it for on hols it was normally within 200-300 yds of where I wanted to be. Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

If you want a good deal on the disk, give Nick (parts manager) at Yeovil Land Rover a call and tell him you're from RRSPORT.CO.UK. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!
