According to Autocar this week, pages 8&9, this car will be a £20,000 "optional extra" when you buy a new Aston, it's a refinished Toyota iQ complete with an untouched Toyota 1.3 engine. Model name will be the Aston Martin Cygnet................................ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

You would have thought they could have given the engine a wee "tickle" to get a bit more out of it!! Either that or a v8 where the back seats should be.............. Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

Angel, out of interest, is the Cygnet being offered in Germany as a stand alone model (ie can anybody walk into a showroom and buy one), or only as an "extra cost option" to existing owners?
What I find a little surprising is that our cynical motoring press haven't leapt on their soapbox and shouted "badge engineering of the first order" like they did with all the "modern" MG cars that Rover Group churned out, some of which (ZT260 with it's 4.6 litre Mustang engine driving the rear wheels, for example) were superb cars in their own right that had no equivalent Rover badged car. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
