Had my FFRR stolen from my locked garage last year.

I got in a taxi at 9.00 am at the top of my drive, by 9.30 when the postman came they had broken in through electric gates, electric garage door and taken the car ... and filled it with all my tools as a double kick !

I was in London with my keys and spare set was still in the house in the safe!

Scumbags !

Eventually got a settlement from the insurance company ... but November last year not a good time for valuations ..... bought a cheap M3 convertible which lasted with me for about 2 months before buying a RRS Supercharged ..

Now with tracker, monitored alarm on the garage, CCTV and various other security measures that I don't wish to make public !

Not seen him yet but will be when he is in the dock, Best punishment would be for him to be banged up with Sexy Paul for 10 years Laughing

New motor is great (thanks to James at CHPR) although after becoming one of Gordon Browns statisitics i now have to pay for my own fuel so not doing as much mileage as i would like Sad but it looks nice and i can sit and watch TV on the drive to pass the days away Thumbs Up

I would be very suprised if this guy had actually stole your car along with 200 other jobs?

I would guess this guy has been caught doing 1 offence and got a lighter sentence if he owns up to a string of offences that make the police stats look better.

Just my opinion.

Not the case. There will have been a team who will have had to have done a lot of hard work to clear up that amount of crime and they need to prove that he did them by interview and/or forensics. It may be that they had been working on a series of car crime for some time. TDV6 - gone

I remember a case from the '90s where a gang of crims had acquired a pantechnicon and soundproofed it inside and just dragged cars into it with the alarms blaring and fixed them at their liesure! They stole hundreds of cars to order (mostly ended up in the Middle East and Southern Europe apparently) before they were caught.
