Hotel Recommendations required

Thought I would ask in here rather than blindly searching online.

Has anyone ever stayed in decent hotel in Geneva? I'm looking to go out there for a long weekend and have never stayed in Geneva before.

Budget probably around 250-350 Euro's a night. EDIT - thats per person. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Thanks mate - the "special offer" works out at about £260 a night so this looks like a decent option Smile WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

The city was lovely and was really nice to visit, but the area where we stayed was in the middle of the red light district, so definitely not somewhere to take the Mrs!! haha.. Let us know how you get on, and where you end up staying.. Thumbs Up

I hate it when that happens.......you "stumble" across a red light district when you've got your better half with you...

Between Hasselt and the Dutch border here is one red light after another for about 30km Shocked and I don't mean traffic lights either.
The MOT stations here are Govt. run, and the nearst one just happens to have a "love motel" and "massage parlour" beside it, always wondered why this MOT station had such long waits at it Whistle Mr. Green Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
