Colour combo is black on black. I thought 32k, its priced up at 35k a little steep as its a private sale. |

What will be the affect on TDV8 prices at launch of the new 3.0TD? I take it the TDV8 will not be carried on with? And how are TDV6 prices holding up? I'm keep to purchase a TDV8 Finch....but am wary of the effect the new model will have and potential impact if the TDV8 is discontinued... |

Nick, the TDv8 is so good that I think you will find there is still demand for them from those who don't want a 20mpg 5.0l V8 petrol engine, but consider the 3.0V6 still to be a little underpowered for their needs. The tdv8 is reckoned to be the diesel engine RRS should have had from day one....................... I'm trying to be confident here! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Difficult one to answer Nick as we've not had anything official from LR. From what I have read on the forum it looks like the TDV8 is continuing?!?

I jolly well hope so, I fancied an upgrade, but the offers on my TDV6 are very poor. I'd seen a lovely TDV8 £38k - got offered £19k for mine in px |

Well spotted James, thanks I meant Dec 07 but with regard to Glass's email, I got that last Monday, ie 9 Feb from some chap called John Glynn who is the "Older Car and Consumer Values Editor."
