The Porsche sports exhausts use a simple trick: When the "sport" button is pushed they open a flap so that the exhaust gas will leave before the rear silencer. Every good tuner can do something like that, even with the switch inside the car. (Although you have to take care: the good ones take care that the exhaust gas doesn't leave the exhaust system before the rear silencer, it will flow in a special tube around it so that it will leave the car where it should: at the end of the exhaust system.)

an easy way is to empty (i have done that on all my former Jags - my english sux today) the middle part of the exhaust system on your RRS - you will be surprised about the sound

u mean my RRS engine is same as in the jag's right? cuz theyre all owned by ford during that time? before the indians bought LR!

Seeing as it's a 4.4V8 I would imagine what he would get would be an unmuffled BMW sound......................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

But since it is not a supercharged enginge, emptying the middle part will affect his performance, so he will perhaps lose some horsepower.
