Looks pretty damned good to me, Angel Bow down A worthy rival for the assegai-wielding African tribesperson mentioned in passing on the "New Products" page of "Land Rover Chronicles" I just happened to notice! Wink

Wonder how it would fair against a Bowler Nemesis. The Nemesis is certainly better looking 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Very well, probably, Tim, the Nemesis is unfortunately a dead loss and, as yet, cannot get anywhere near the old Wildcats in internationals (as shown by the results of this year's Dakar) It's too fragile even though it has more power than the Wildcat in FIA trim (with the restrictor and running 4 litre normally aspirated) Admitedly, Drew Bowler's operation is a shed in a field compared to Mitsu and VW's millions at Ralliart and VW Motorsport and they have been driven by crap drivers not in the league of Wildcat pilotes like Gibon, Pelichet and Sireyjol. Could do better!

S - I'm home again. These days of iPhone ownership I don't even need to be in an airport lounge to get into the forums. I've even sussed out how to make the pages big enough to read even though the site isn't optimised for small screen reading! The usual double tap at the bottom of the iphone screen didin't work for RRSport but I was shown a way to zoom the pages by dragging two fingers diagonally out from the centre of the screen until the size of the printing is readable............................ only problem is now I have a HUGE databill on my phone - £320 last month alone but I did use it to websurf on 3g in egypt which is about the next most expensive place in the world after Sri Lanka to use any sort of mobile phone! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

OFF TOPIC!

It was the email downloads - 400 emails in my in tray and 75% were spam emails purporting to be from Tescos!

One interesting problem I have found with the iPhone is that it often cannot find a network. While I was away I contacted O2's help email address and said that it showed No Networks available when the ship's own ancient Nokia was logging in to a network. Their answer was that there have been problems with static build up on SIM cards with iPhones and they were right. As soon as I "cleaned" the card with a soft cloth and discharged the static
I got a signal, but it still happens a lot to me. I wonder if it is because I plug my iPhone into a set of extension speakers when I want to use the iPod function and the speaker that I have are i-Luv and not anything from the Apple Store................... also I wonder what damage I do to my SIM every time I take it out of the phone and clean it? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
