2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Wanted - TDV8 Engine

Hi All,

I am looking for a TDV8 engine from a RRS or a FFRR.

Dont mind if its from an acceident damaged vehicle as long as the engine its self is not damaged.

A full engine would be great but dont mind etc.

Anyone got one or know of one?

Well Pete Bell from BAS and I are working on 2 projects at this time

A TDV6 & TDV8 into a 100" chassis

We are currently testing the TDV6 on a bench and now that we can run the TDV8 we need to bench test the engine etc.

Once done the build will begin in ernest mating them both to a 6 speed manual gearbox etc.

Will post more when I have further details etc.

How about also doing a twin turbo conversion on a tdv6?

Twin turbo conversion??? That uses parts from the Jag twin turbo maybe? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? V interestig - more info please!!!

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Chawton White

There was definitely a TDV6 on fleabay yesterday that i saw.. There are a few cars being broken on Ebay also, so maybe one of those has a TDV8..

Please keep us up to date on the progress of these projects, they do sound great!

If only I had the spare $ and importantly the spare time!!

Just looked and cant see any but I think it depends whay you searched under.

It's a TDV6 though... I suppose you could contact the seller and see if he has a TDV8 available.
