RRS 3.6 TDV8 HST Wanted !

I have a friend who wants to buy a either second hand, preferably under 10K miles or brand new, if the price is right...

Budget is £45 - 50K

It must be Stornaway with privacy glass.

Any questions, feel free to PM me or on the open forum.

Thanks

C

Why does your client need help with this when he can easiy source a brand new one from a dealer for much less than your bottom figure?

No but seriously I am amazed that used cars trade for more than new ones from a dealer via a broker

Why should this be so?

If you Google you can easily find them
Googling the brokers throws up the occasional warning but most seem OK

I can only imagine it must be laziness

Are there really people out there who just walk into a dealer to see whats available without making their own enquiries?

Your client (and James customer in another thread) suggest that this is the case

Cheers

Theo

You did see in the original post that he was looking for a HST....not a HSE, I doubt you will be able to get a new HST for less than £49k... Stratstones had a new S/C HST for £48.5k

Ok no probs Perrys

All I can say is that he actually isnt that shrewd in reality

I actually misread the initial post
I took it as an HSE not an HST

However I have found a broker who will source a new HST for 45k for a UK car

So if he's happy with up to 50k for a s/h one I stand to make an easy 5k and he gets a car with a lot less miles on it than he was expecting

Ive PM'd you my phone number

If it works out I will pass 20% of my profit on to you - less a modest deduction for HMRC

Cheers

Theo

Trust me if it were that easy he would be driving the car now.

He won't buy until he makes a dealer or broker cry, unfortunately our budget this year won't run to a box of tissues. Perrys For New & Used Range Rover Sports

Angus (Chappy), thanks for putting the word out, but Perrys are on the lookout for me here, as is my usual car broker Peregrine Group. There are not a huge amount of these things out there unfortunately!

Dealers are falling over themselves to offer me cooking HSE's, but I want a HST.

The ones I have enquired about 'apparently' owe the Dealers more than their sticker prices, therefoe they are not willing to budge on price. In this market I'm expecting Dealers to budge a bit on price.

I will pay £42k max for the right car, I'm not penny pinching - I just have principles. And I WILL get one for that price (they are pooping £1k+ pm in Glasses anyway, so its just a matter of time)

A couple of Dealers have accepted my offers verbally, then recinded at the first sniff of a punter walking through the door to view it!!

I'll get one next week.....I'm finding it hard to believe that some LR Dealers think we are in a credit crunch.

Perrys as ever are doing everything they can for me (thanks Ken Thumbs Up ), but they dont have one in stock and other Dealers are not being receptive to dealing with them. 10 Lamborghini LP560-4 Spyder
10 Rangey Sport HSE TdV6 (with Overfinch bling)
10 Audi Q5 2.0Tdi DSG S-Line

Theo, not laziness - my time is more valuable than mucking about playing at car dealing. Please point me at these £45k brand news HST's (TdV8 only) that are all over Google?

I am not Chappylads Client either.
