The 5 litre S/C is ready to go and would have been debuted, probably at Geneva (5-15.03.09) but now is deemed non-PC in the current climate and will be delayed until matters improve (if they do!) certainly where the Sport is concerned. That could be Essen, all being well (unlikely) 28.11.09-06.12.09. It will, however, be announced, almost certainly on original schedule, in the Jag XKR and XFR.
So, you are all going to have to wait, probably a long time! As TB has attempted to get through, the TdV8 will remain unchanged in capacity, and certainly not replaced. 8-speed ZF's are imminent. No further comment, you can believe this or what your mate told you down the pub. The Range Rover Sport is yesterday's car and is rapidly falling off the wrong end of the Cool Wall! hehe

So Cornelius, what you are saying is believe you or believe the insiders or are you somehow undercover on some covert automobile mission and have access to information that even the insiders cannot get too and are therefore now known as an insider who has greater knowledge of the situation that the other insiders do not??

Oh! I have been missing all my fan mail by sulking away from the Forum due to my not beating EX-X5 in the "Least-liked Forum Member" category!!
I think all the info you need regarding MY2010 is in the various informed posts in this thread and I can assure you the comments in my posts come from the horse's mouth, not my arse as most seem to think!! If some fear future developments might not be as you would hope, take it from me it could be a whole lot worse. I have driven a few thousand miles in an obviously highly-modified Supercharged. Latterly it became embarassing and luckily it has been sold while the market was buoyant. The Sport was a car of its time, just as the 3-Series BM and Porsche 911Turbo of the 80's and 90's were "yuppie-mobiles." Yuppies came and went, now it's the Barrow Boys turn to vacate the gene pool.
As for cool, that supercharged Bowler "Nemesis" in the pic is cool! Franc and I could give a sh Censored t what others think after a blast in that.
Nonetheless, Happy New Year to all, even if some of you will be driving a Nissan Micra at the end of it!!

Commiserations on you not collecting the award CV, we will make a special effort next time around, that's if you can stand the heat for another 12 months Question Whistle

Whilst everyone on here gets information from various sources and with some of that information being more reliable than others, ultimately whether an engine or facelift is released is at a much higher level than most of our sources operate at. Now considering we are at least some months away from any new engine release or facelift, I sincerely doubt that a Barrow boy, by which you obviously refer to yourself, is hardly going to get the CEO lowdown on any future LR releases etc.

PS: It seems by your avatar that you have already extensively modified your Micra, nice work, but it still looks Censored Wink L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!
