Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I love to collect stickers, mostly to put on my Engel refrigerator and not on the vehicle, but if tastefully done it would be nice to have an elegant sticker for the corner of the front or rear windshield, or even a side window.

However to be honest, the style of this one is rather bland, it's not terribly visually appealing unlike other Land Rover stickers or LR companies which engage in some sort of adventure travel or motoring activities. The sticker should evoke some sensation of travel, adventure, energy, power etc. and trigger some emotion, but the block letters and plain color don't do much for me.

If you could design one that is more symbolic, metaphorical, it would be more appealing and I would order 5 of them.

Very Happy

Sort of same for me, no offense but I don't like this sticker too much. Wink

It's supposed to be subtle and not too showy.

What sort of thing would those who don't like it prefer? Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

Personally, it's not that it's too subtle... I think it's too big actually and there aren't many places to stick it nicely. If it were smaller, it could be placed near the Sport badge, instead of the Land Rover badge or under the plate... Well, you get the idea. Wink

The original stickers that Martin did were smaller than the current version and I think they looked better. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

The standard type is the smaller ones that VA is referring to, which in some peoples' eyes suit the RRS better. There are a few of the older larger ones available. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Cairns Blue

Hi Martin,
Here's a link to the original thread on RR.NET from a while back, one of the members designed a sticker which a number of us bought. Unfortunately he is nowhere to be found again, so we are stickerless again!

http://www.rangerovers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11466

This was based on a poll he did with the existing members. It basically took the Overfinch style and adapted it. The sticker is placed on the inside of the window rather than the outside...small enough to fit in the front windshield area. Some might want a larger one...just an alternative to consider.

Stickers of the logos from companies like Overland Journal, Expo Portal, Sierra expeditions and other travel style magazines or online forums seem to be appealing... PJPR
