My TDv8 will be a year old in 2 weeks time, and it has 12000miles up. Average mpg over that time is 27mpg, includes 6 motorway hauls from Central Scotland to New Forest, mostly fast A roads with minimal commuting as I don't work in town. That has worked out at 1mpg better over the same period and similar driving conditions than my TDv6 - but I drive the TDv8 much harder than I drove the v6.

You should also look at the resale value afterwards which should be better for TDV8 than it would be for SC 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,..... |

ditto that. Buy the sc. They are free now. And kick ass. - Petrol is less than 105 per litre and going to get cheaper. The derv boyz will be wondering why the bought diesel, but not for a while. I love mine. 2022 P440e AB |

i second that diesels not only sound terrible but also looks terrible everytime you see a TDV8 pulling away with smoke kickin out the back, its the reason i switched from diesel to petrol Current
