2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Also these days nobody in their right mind is going to pay for any extras that a used/nearly new car might have - all that lots of things like privacy, black badges, non standard wheels, HST grilles, TV systems, side steps do is reduce the number of people likely to want to buy the car.

I will stick my neck out here and say that the only extra anybody MIGHT pay extra for on an RRS (and then only a nominal amount not what it cost at car purchase) is the tow pack as that is often why people buy cars like D3 and RRS.

I wonder if earlier HST's (the dealer built ones rather than the factory build cars) might not hold their value as well as the more recent versions that were a "standard" model in the range. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I think my kids might disagree !! Whistle Blick with blick windows, big wheels, tow bar for nickin, side steps for the tart, DVD screens for on the go porn, 22" Stormers black and polished... as a matter of fact just about every box ticked.....if I`m going down I`m going down BIG time. Wink))

You mean that if you didn't have a tow hitch they would have to travel in the car instead of a trailer out the back Birdie................that would be spoiling them. Kids today don't know how lucky they are, when I was a kid we had to travel on the roofrack Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Birdy,

Just picked up your post as I've been 'out of action' so to speak for the last couple of days. We're just changing a few demo's so I wouldn't want to add to my current stock at this present time, unless of course it was offered as a part-exchange for a new or used vehicle that we have in stock.

September being a big registration month has generated quite a few retailable RRS's, and I am sure this would be the case for most dealerships. My advice would be to let the September dust settle for a couple of weeks and then look at it again in the expectation that dealers have sold a few of their self-generated vehicles.

Regards,

James Thumbs Up
