F*%k*$g tw*t$ing ECARD.EXE

Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

One of the girls in the office received a 'ecard' email today with the classic ECARD.EXE Worm attached - as she gets loads of e-cards she clicked on it and by the time I got back to the office it killed her pc

She's very upset about it, however I'm just Censored with the tw&ts that make these things. Now this afternoon I will be rebuilding a PC instead of getting on

Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

not sure what happened exactly - apparently a virus warning came up, then followed by another warning that said the computer had over 500 viruses - she cant remember what she clicked however it ended up restarting

it now wont boot up so I'm guessing some critical system files are gone

ARSE!!!!

No "last known good config" to return to either? Shocked

Without teaching the basics of egg sucking, whether it's enterprise IT or your machine at home it's well worth just reiterating that unknown email attachments are a Bad Thing Very Happy

S - weirdly nothing will get it to boot - I dropped the XP Boot disc in 30 mins ago and its still spinning away - something is seriously wrong with it - very odd

whats more annoying is I cant find my HD Caddy so cant get all the data off the HD yet
