Well, made it back.

They did the software update (of all modules I believe) and they said that they would certainly not do it again for £95.

All functions of the Sat Nav now work whilst on the move - identical to the 1791 hack.

They also reflashed the gearbox software as I had noted occasional rough changes to and from 1st, and they agreed. They also replaced a leaky washer bottle. They also fixed the PDC, caused by a frayed wire in the loom to the front sensors.

Didn't replace the diff though, and has to be booked in again for that.

i will give my 5 cents:

i just had my sat nav reprogrammed:

- No DVD needed
- its like a days job to update everything incl. the Radio for an example
- the update is for free.....

PS. they updated it manually cause the software update they had didn't work.....

Smile

New software works well; I think the sat nav route calculator has been changed as it took me on a different route yesterday. The Phone update that gets contacts via Bluetooth works too. Thumbs Up

Called my LR dealer today, he's going to reprogram/reload my NAV software so the navigation can be changed/entered while on the move...great news! And all that for €50. One happy customer...! Thumbs Up

Where are you getting that done for €50? That works out cheaper than getting it done here in the UK - even with the cost of the ferry!

I've just been quoted £200 + VAT (2 hours labour)
