2008MY Sport only has electic steering wheel adjustment in some markets - not in the UK. Maybe 8.5MY eh Salesman? Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Envoy,

The way to tell if you new TDV8 is 07 or 08 is as you say from the chassis.........................

SALLSAA237XXXXXXX is 2007my

SALLSAA238XXXXXXX is 2008my

I hope this helps? Wink

So the big question on everyone's lips is "is it 07 or 08?" Thumbs Up TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

Seeing it last Saturday it did not appear to have the black centre dash - therefore my guess would be 07. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps.

I just recieved my registration, TDV8 is still at the dealer, but;

when I put in my id number of the car i get;

SAL Manufacturer code: Land Rover
LS Model: Range Rover Sport
A Wheel base: 108 inch
A Body type: 5-door station wagon
2 Engine type: 4.0 litre V8 petrol, high compression, catalyst
4 Steering and transmission: Left-hand drive (LHD), 3-, 4-, 5-, or 6-speed automatic
8 Model year: 2008
A Assembly location: Solihull, UK
1****** Serial number

MODEL YEAR 2008!! I did not saw the car, but this would mean it is a MY08 ??

But on the other hand; 4.0 litre V8 petrol, but it's a TDV8 ??

Hmm... I don't know how accurate that info is then, given it reckons your 3.6 diesel V8 is a 4.0 petrol V8.... Question

I'm sure if it was actually built after 30th April, it's a MY08.

My TDV8 says 4.0 V8 on that site too, so I guess it's an error with the site itself. It's been running fine on diesel for the last couple of weeks! Rolling Eyes TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

Yeah, you just wonder how accurate the rest of the info is if fundamental info like engine type is wrong Wink
