Well there is only so long before the bubble bursts in the motor game. All you can say is to sum it up -no dealer has had it so good for so long as what LR dealers had it while RRS were held back to hold the price up.

I wonder what they will be worth at 3 years old.

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

I can't remember the RRS being held back at any time.

All I remember is trying get my people to work seven days a week, week in week out for the last two years to keep up with customer demand. Shocked Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Dont think production was held back demand for the car was V HIGH. now people have the two diesels to choose from the V6 more availabile a few people who have the v6 want the performance of the V8 therfore more second hand cars availabile. If people are going all round the country to by sports and buying imports that nocks the second hand price down which nocks the trade in price down. If yo can buy a V6 import for 42500 why would a customer who is purley concerned with the price on the screen pay £42000 for a second hand one, therefore the dealer needs to drop the price to £40000 or lower and be paying less to make a profit to pay for people like me to live the lifestyle of th rich and famous (NOT).
In terms of holding back supply 2 months before the sport was launched you could have walked into any BMW showroom with a large bag of cash (not to large for money laundering) you were getting quoted between 9 and 12 months delivery a month after the sport was launched you were waiting 8 to 10 weeks at most.

Well all i know from the finance perspective, is they are far out weighing the book residuals.. now we're getting 3 year old cars about to drop out of warranty, we'll see what happens with them, but demand is still high at the dealers from what i know.. even though the new Q7 came out, the X5 has come out.. the RRS still looks fresh and good.. I think i sold mine too early.. it also helps residuals that LR keep putting new car's prices up.. all the books move forward on the used cars too!!

colour and grade is obviously important, on the used market EVERYONE wants HSE from what i've come across..

I would only have one if somebody gave it to me, sorry but black paintwork for cars doesn't do anything for me, too hard to keep them clean and they show every tiny scratch and polishing swirls. I read in Autocar I think, that Black is now the No1 choice of colour, silver has lost the top slot. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
