New starter

I am on the verge of ordering my first TDV6 2.7 RRS, can I have some feedback, should I go for the 19's or 20's? What is the ifference in the ride quality?

If it's looks go for 20s if you intend to do any offroading go for 19's. The 20's do give a harder ride and some people have noticed a real change when switching from 19's - everything seems to rattle a bit more too. The 20's are also easier to damage. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

VA is spot on.

We went from 19's to 20" Stormers on our non-DP HSE and the ride is noticably firmer but have to say after 19,300 miles there are no discernable rattles inside.

Looks wise it is 20's all the way although one member has put 22" Stormers on and it looks the b Censored ks Thumbs Up Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Get your self some 20's i have them fitted as standard, but had them changed today with some stormers fitted with 295x40x20's NEXEN Roadian tyres and they not only look the muts but it handles like its Censored on a blanket but also the profile seems a little larger than the standard ones and the ride seems to be excellent Thumbs Up

Being 295's they do give more protection to the wheels Very Happy some of my Previous cars

A 295/40 will have a higher profile than a 275/40 as the 40 relates to a %age of tyre width.

........I think!

Now that was too sensible by far!

And don't forget you have an extra 20mm width on the tyre to "wrap" around the rim, if you see what I mean. That's where it gets the extra protection from, I suppose.

Geoffs, dont listen to any of these badly informed members, listen here if you want to get some good relaible info.

What you wanna do is you wanna get 30" clear rims.

What is 30" clear rims you ask?

The universal rims that allows you to go offroading with out getting your car dirty and still give your car some good looks on road which alot of other rims lack to do. Clean up is simple, just some good old windex and your set. Also, since Range Rovers have air suspension, setting up these rims is simple and the ride quality is fabulous.
