You've always been able to connect the iPod to your RRS via the AUX socket and indeed you've had to turn up the volume on the AUX input so you could hear the iPod playing. You could also have bought an in-line charger/amp from Belkin too, which negated the need to turn the head unit up to stupid volumes (I believe Josh still has one of these).

There is a new iPod module that can be fitted to the RRS which allows integration with the head unit (and I believe the satnav screen) without the need to keep fiddling with volume levels. I don't think the module is retrofittable to anything earlier than MY07 but I may be wrong there. Someone else maybe able to confirm.

Scotland 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

There is?

I would love more details......I thought the LR system was the only semi-intergrated one! .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

.

I wasn't aware of any new module. The current LR one is a retrofit to everything from 05MY to 08MY, and doesn't integrate with the headunit or satnav screen. You get next/previous track selection and the ability to switch shuffle on and off if you've got PTI (uses the hang up button) through the steering controls, and a nice cradle to charge it and hold it beside the steering wheel. Contains an amp too so you don't need to turn the volume up to 30+! Wink
