Save your money and buy a second hand SUPERCHARGED for £40k - there are hundreds out there for sale - I have seen some very nice examples with every option fitted - low mileage and mint. Whats the fuel going to cost - not a lot - unless you do 40,000 a year then ok a diesel would be better. They can't depreciate much more....... surely not Confused

But having said that.......

Personally I think LR have p Censored ed a lot of people off - me included, what was meant to be the flagship model and the emphasis on the name SPORT - Supercharged coupled with stong demand and very little initial discounting - I think since the introduction of the new TDV8 - they have created a bit of an Albatros Evil or Very Mad

Wonder if I could sell my engine and buy a new TDV8 ENGINE from LR and fit it in my own RRS ..... it would instantly make mine worth what I paid for it Shocked

MDP, i have a better Idea idea have both

i would love an S/C but a, i couldnt trust myself with that power in a day to day car, and b, i couldnt justify the depreciation, whereas the TDV8 will have good resids for a while some of my Previous cars

Yep i agree jay, but when are the car manufacturers going to stop, they can only produce cars to go so fast, and then what, the components in these cars will only take a certain amount of torque, before they need to be built like tanks, the handling cant be improved to much more on what there is allready because of natural forces, so in the end it will come down to refinements and styling

So what after the S/C something faster???? it makes you wonder some of my Previous cars
