Hi all, my car is 2015 and has a noise under low rpm acceleration. Around the 1250 mark it makes a whirring noise which you can hear from the cabin. I suspect the right hand turbo, and only under load as reving car on the driveway doesn’t produce the same noise. I’ve performed a smoke leak test on the air intake side and that didn’t highlight any pipes leaking boost.

Does anyone have any ideas on what else I could check for?

I’m at the point where I’m going to book it into a specialist but having owned an SDV6 discovery prior to this I’m no stranger to driveway repairs. If it is indeed the right hand side(sitting in the car)turbo making the noise then is that possible on the driveway? What I’m reading suggests not but there is little info out there I can find.
