Looking to update the radio keeping the top screen but don’t know what radio type system is installed, RRS 2009 2.7tdv6 S, this has no Amp under drivers seat but has the fibre optics wires from radio top top screen, nothing on the speakers to say what system is, thinking this just basic system so need to know to order radio upgrade bits. The radio drives the display with all its data.
So removing the radio will just leave the display stuck on the LR logo

Some people split the radio in 2 and leave the rear part in the upper glovebox so its drives the display

Sounds like you have lots of green wires (speaker wires) behind the headunit, so that makes the radio upgrade part easy
