You'll need that activating in the Car Configuration File- CCF. There are a few guys on here that can do that for you, and and sure they'll be along soon..
Also be aware that you cN get a remote gob to do this, and even an aftermarket unit made by Altox. This allows web based timed/immediate switching and uses a monthly SIM card.
Have a read here on the Disco4 forum..

So I can just get a remote and job done instead of all that parafinalla of wiring in a unit for timer controls? Cheers Laurence.

No.
The on screen timer can be activated in the CCF. That'll give you pre set FBH control.
If you want the remote, that needs activating too in the CCF, but is usually just 'switched on ready' when the timer setting is setup.
If you want remote activation, that's a plugin unit in the rear area, straight into an in place at build loom. Easy fit... it has a little box, an aerial, and that's it.
Look thro the link i sent and you'll find a few guys that can do all that for you.

It's a commin add on for D4 owners. 2011 MY D4 HSE

It certainly looks that way... Thumbs Up I’ve done the deal hoping to collect next week I’ll put pic’s up. It’s 12 plate Lux Pk black with black leather, white contrast stitching a credit to the last owner in mint condition! I got almost all the extras I wanted apart from heated steering wheel and black roof lining. I’m interested to know how to activate the FBH, my last 13plate Black Edition had one as this one has but on the black edition it was already set up on the menu to work. It seems on the 12 plate they put one in but never put the software on the car to use it???? Very strange..... Thud Cheers Laurence.

I think timed climate was an option on most models but standard on the Black Edition. The FBH still works when needed even without the timed feature. 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography

It works when the temp. Is low and the engine calls for it to aid engine warm up.
The timed climate is a binus feature to pre warm the interior. It will also activate the internal fans to cirxulate the air.
Frosty mornings are no longer a problem if you get the system on about 20mins before leaving. Windows will clear of frost.

The LR /Webasto two button on/off remote is the one i have fitted, and can vouch for it's efficiency. 2011 MY D4 HSE

That unit is just a WiFi switch, so I don't think that will work on your car. The Webasto needs a signal, not just a live feed to start.
Best bet is to contact one of the guys that fits the specific units.. either the Telestart or the Altox. They are literally plug and play once the CCF has been edited. It's no magic with the CCF and the correct tool to do it.
Most Independent LR garages will do this.
The telestart units occasionally pop up for sale in the forum.
By the time you've messed with the other wifi unit you've posted, it may well work out more expensive. 2011 MY D4 HSE

Buster check out the link from bodsy
http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic46083.html

I got the remote and module, just plugs in the boot. I have the iid tool so I activated it myself. Pre heat is the best thing I ever bought, works at up to 1km away. I bought my kit from bodsy, took only a couple of days to arrive.
It's well worth purchasing a ctek charger and the tow electrics adaptor, to ensure you keep the battery topped up.
