If the cigar lighters function with the ignition off, then you could buy a lead to connect into that.

Hello, I want to connect my Ctek 5.0 directly to the battery using the comfort connector ... Has anyone done this? As I am yet not too familiar with my new RRS, am I correct in assuming that the battery is under the spare wheel in the back? Thanks |

Hi, I assume you are referring to an L494 when you say "new" HSE. No model designation in your profile. This really helps when you are requiring assistance or information.

Personally I just use the crocodile clips that came with the CTEK charger direct to the terminal posts in the engine compartment because it is convenient for me and the arrangement of the power sockets in the barn where I keep the car.

I recently bought a CTEC 5 charger. I have a 2011 RRS so can I connect the comfort wire to the battery and us that? |
