SatNav update

I know that this has been discussed a few times, however would be interested to clarify a few things.

Firstly, the latest official update for the Denso navigation seems to be Western Europe - 2011/2012 (Part number T1000-18194) available from Land Rover Navigation for £169. To note, there is no Europe/Eastern Europe map.

Apparently, the same unit has been used in SAAB/Ford and Subaru 2006 Core 1. There are no links on the LR Navigation website to SAAB, probably not supported anymore, however I've found Subaru Navigation which might work.

Has anyone been successful in using other brands' DVD in their RRS? Are there any issues, eg. LandRover dealer POI missing (probably), etc?

Please don't mention the pirated products as I'm already aware of those.
