Shocked that don't sound right.... What happens when you open your fuel cap and expose the fuel to air prior to filling up..?

Split turbo hose, possibly. Quite common on TDV8's.

Good news is its an easy, and cheap fix Thumbs Up

turbo pipes all Ok !! but all is well then for no reason the car reads Engine Fault and has now power, if i park up go back to the car start it up and again it runs ok with no fault, its had new battery & alternator, the garage have plugged it in and no fault found. But as usual the car is fine when at the garage which drives me mad. Great car but will send me to a early grave.

1: Turbo pipe is not properly fitted, maybe the tiding collar is untied
2: or a sensor from the engine is gone and costs about £700

Big Cry

Let me know if I was right

To be fair, he did quote me £18 at first, but when it turned up, that was how much LR had billed him, plus the VAT 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater Smile)))
