Just had to share this... 5 months waiting for my RRS to arrive.... finally arrived at dealer Monday..... Except the dealer emailed me to say there was no contrast stitch as ordered....
I'm not accepting the car.... I know it's only a £125 extra, but I would never have ordered a black interior otherwise...
Its a left hooker by the way as I don't live in the UK...
The dealer is trying to get a new build slot but very vague at the mo on timing....
Any one else experienced a mis order and how did the dealer resolve the issue or how long did it take for the re order to be built and delivered....
Also not happy as we've had the first sight of snow last wkend!!!

It's probably no consollation, however there are companies that can add stitching of a preferred colour. We have a company less than a mile away, and although we have not used this sort of service, I have seen a couple of G Class Brabus Mercedes that they have stitched and it looks very good indeed.

Perhaps the dealer could look into this option for you as opposed to you waiting for another vehicle?

just thought of that myself and was coming back to type a response

though i did ponder on whether the dealer could obtain the correct seat covers with the correct stitching and thinks like door panels and replace them when they arrive

May be a re stitch is what he has in mind.... I just hope he tells me first....!!
I know it's getting technical but of course that in itself 'could ' invalidate the warranty !!

he got the wrong colour stitching on his interior SP

I don't think he will want to pay £££££ to swap to some quilted eyesore of a revere interior, if he did i don't think he would have posted about his issue or even spec contrasting stitching

thats the fantastic thing about revere... they can do a simple restitch, upuntil a full blown aligator skin interior if you want it! their craftsmen have years of experiance and heritage and can do from the smallest job to the biggest! dont think they do freelanders tho! sorry mate!  RR Sport supercharged 06

Guess I'd def do it if I'd changed my mind and wanted an enhancement....
Just sort of want it as it rolled off the line from RR...
will post on the outcome !!
