RRS driven off a transporter

Taken from BuckinghamBazza on Disco3

His words:-

Quote:

A friend of mine runs a car transporter business, one of his drivers, while loading Disco 3's onto his own vehicle, heard a loud crunch and turned round to see this........

Apparently the driver who was loading the RRS onto the top level gave it a bit too many beans to get it into the wheel locators and went straight over the front!

This happens quite regularly, unfortunately not all the transport drivers are as good at driving as they think they are. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Whoops... I wouldn't want to be the sales guy who has to get on the phone and explain the delay to the customer's new car.

Before I had my M3, I had booked a test drive only to have the sales guy phone me to tell me that whilst it was being driven home the previous night by the guy who was currently running it, it had ended up coming face to face with a wall Whistle

lol idiot. The guys at the offroad thing at the motorshow proved to me how little you need to rev to get up those things. It was rediculous! He crawled around the course without touching 1500 revs iirc.

ps, anyone got a bigger picture?
