Bought my D3 from them, good price but first time I took it back for a few minor warranty issues they Censored me about no end. They never did fix them (I use another dealer now), even made things worse on the first attempt, never returned calls, made promises they never kept, lied to me. I ended up driving in there, blocking the entrance, storming into the building and spent a good 15 minutes dressing down the lying b'stard on the service desk in front of his manager, didn't really achieve anything (not that I thought it would) but it didn't half feel good Twisted Evil

Thanks Slimer - I have wasted so much time chasing problems (mostly minor) but frustrating with spend in mind. Passed around so many staff with false promises, elevating now but amazed that post sales support is not important. Impressive vehicle appaling service. Makes me question future purchases.

If you're using Stratstones (or Heathwood as they used to be called) I'm not at all suprised.

I use Lancaster in Reading nowadays (I work nearby), they've been really good, especially considering I didn't buy from them. Also hearing good things about Guy Salmon in Thames Ditton

Not that I'm aware of

Was chatting to a guy a while back that used to work at one of them, told me he left because he couldn't stand their terrible business practices any longer!

Nothing to be embarassed about. They make money out of you still either out of your pocket or if they're warranty issues out of LRs pocket, so they should be happy

Nope, I used Guy Salmon at Gatwick. It would have been more convenient for me to use LHR as I work there most of the time at the moment, but on the 3 occasions I rang them to speak to their service dept the phone just rang and rang. I figured if they can't be bothered to even answer their phones they don't deserve any of my cash. In my experience, the words Stratstones and "good" shouldn't ever appear in the same sentence.
