CHPR thank you read below to why I am thanking this dealership

I take my car to HARWOODS to fix a warranty issue in regards to power folding mirror. Car is returned so far so good. 200 miles later knocking starts and i research and find rrsport.co.uk . Armed with tehcnical data return back to HARWOODS and ask them to apply latest fix. Car returned minus the knocking noise and was told the bushes were worn and changed.

The knocking returns again this time i ask them to fix the knocking permanently. Same excuse same result

Cue my second service In steps CHPR. Outstanding customer service wish i knew about them before. Ask CHPR to look at knocking noise and fix. Told by CHPR that they cannot act as LAND ROVER will not authorise warranty work. So i take the car back to HARWOODS and ask them to act on the latest technical bulletin version 3. Get a phone call stating that the fix was applied and the car is ready. Go on a test drive and i am advised by the techincan that the under body engine sump cover is missing and they have looked around the workshop but cannot find it. So i ask where is it they think it must of been taken off at some point. Yeah no s t sherlock. So i say fine order it. On my way home the knocking returns.

I then call LAND ROVER and speak to a customer advisor her name I am not sure if i can mention it was so helpful advised that i should take the car to CHPR and she will sort out the warranty issue.

CHPR take the car and call me to say that the crossmember is faulty due to bad workmanship. Now i am not one to point but HARWOODS were the last people to carry out work in that area of the vehicle .

The car is fixed of the knocking noise CHPR And always returned clean and shiny. I get into my car and go off in the sunset with the bellow of V8. Smiles all round.

But wait i get a phone call from HARWOODS stating we have a slot available would you like to come in and get your knocking sorted. Yeah right. Bye bye stay away from my black beauty.

So CHPR you now have a family member of mine who have purchased a RRS TDV6 and a service is due. So more business your way.

What exactly are you referring to as the crossmember? Do you have a part # on your invoice which shows the part which was replaced?

CHPR weren't voted RRSport Dealership of the Year by members for no reason! I even take my TDv8 to them from Scotland and there is a huge choice of dealerships between me and Park Royal!. A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.
