Went to Manchester MEN last night as got some free tickets with work, and have to say, what an utter load of rubbish. Audley Harrison's fight was pants, and everyone boo'd him off! poor fight and he only won because of his height advantage.. Then Amir Khan, after the massive build up and his grand entrance.. was quite funny actually to see him put on his arse in the first 30 odd seconds.. although i am a fan of Amir's, it just seems justice as his entrance was so bad.. he almost moon walked across the ring! lets see if he can come back from this..

he needed to loose a fight at some point and earlier the better imo - I feel he responded very well to it in the ring side interview |

Am I the only one who doesn't see the point of boxing? I know I'm not the most sports-oriented person known to man, but if I wanted to see blokes punching each other until one of them falls down I'd go and sit in the centre of Guildford on a Saturday night |

Trouble is if he has an iffy chin he can't really change that or train for it; but I hope he gets himself sorted as he is quite an entertaining fighter. DS3 TDV6 HSE

I have no doubt his next fight will be anything but a "corker" Khan can't take a punch, end of story. Coming out crouching with your guard dropped is suicide against a known vicious puncher like Prescott. Why Kahn's management even took the fight beggars belief. Nope, another glass-jawed "prospect" found wanting after too much hype (remember Errol Christie?) Still, Khan made a million or two and probably kept a bit. |
